It was warm with a light rain falling, which made it perfect gardening weather in Lana's opinion. She was down at the River park, cleaning up the flower beds.

Sure she'd be soaked through by the time she was done, but that's what hot showers - oh or even better! - the hot tub was for.

It was chilly, but Lana was feeling cooped up and claustrophobic so she bundled up and went out for a walk. She supposed it wasn't very surprising that she found herself here. It was one of her favorite places. She sat down on one of the benches by the river and watched the water as she sipped at a cup of tea.

As he often did when he had some thinking to do, Connor went to a large enough body of water, and started skipping stones. He was trying to see if he could get one all the way across the river.

Lana spent a good part of the afternoon gardening at the park, then curled up to read in the last of the sun. When it got too dark to do that anymore, she just sat down by the river and watched the stars. She felt good out here. Safe and mostly at peace.
